Xicha Brewing Company is celebrating their first year in business in West Salem, so they’re throwing a party: “Join us for our first annual Xichafest [chee-chah-fest], a celebration of cerveza, comida, and cultura. Our cervezas will be flowing to compliment the tacos, raspados, elote cart, and live music we have lined up. We will even be roasting some green chile brought straight from NM to round out the Xicha experience. We’re bringing in some of our neighbors and friends to join the fun as well: Evening Land Vineyards, La Familia Cider, and more. As always, kids are welcome.” The music lineup is brought to you by the Visionaire Network and includes: Johnny Johnson – indie/pop/folk/singer/songwriter; Pedro – rock/reggae/blues/Latin fusion; Dina y los Rumberos – Cuban son/salsa/guaracha/bolero/merengue/cumbia; Kevin Gomez; Samuel Davila and more. This sounds like a delicious celebration, all around. Food, music, and did I mention an elote cart? Music to my ears (see what I did there)? This is a great event for the whole family.
