Salem needs more venues. Thank goodness Justin Stimson was diligent and secured Thursday nights at Nobles for local and touring original talent. Nobles is the oldest running bar in Salem, (someone told me that), and the regulars make it extra interesting. Thursday, July 19th has Mr. Frederick’s Product Production Co., Jared Richert, and The Big Nothing, which is Daniel Loren’s (Orchards, Brides) solo project. Thursday, July 26th has Summer Eyes acoustic, When the Broken Bow (pdx), and Light Treason featuring Ronan Baker from Sleep Millennium and Heroes and Rebels David Bowie tribute band. It’s right in the heart of the city at Center and 17th. Have an adventure.
