The Willamette National Forest was selected to provide the Christmas Tree to appear on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. for the holiday season. The tree will be stopping in Salem in front of the Oregon State Capitol as it makes its way across the country. The community is invited to come see the tree, sign the banners that will accompany the tree to D.C., and enjoy a few holiday festivities at the Capitol Building.
