TIM WHITSEL lives on a 100-year floodplain outside Springfield, Oregon. He is passionate about western rivers, gardening, jazz, bicycling, wine and words. For six years Tim directed Windfall, a monthly reading series at the Eugene Public Library. He won first prize at the 2013 Northwest Poets’ Concord. Poets Charles Goodrich and Donald Levering worked together as groundskeepers at Marylhurst College in the 1970s. Since then they have gone on to publish many books. Levering’s Coltrane’s God was Runner-Up in the New England Book Festival. He won the 2017 Tor House Foundation Robinson Jeffers Prize.
