For the month of April, Lunaria’s main gallery features paintings by Lori Rodrigues, and new work by jeweler, Helen Nute Wiens. Together they present their show titled, “Aliferous: having wings”. Although she has been working in watercolor and acrylics, for this show Rodrigues has revisited the use of conte crayon, mixed media, pencil, and pen-and-ink. She also gives a nod to the show theme with her own touch of fantasy involving wings. Jewelry artist Helen Wiens’ work for the show combines the warmth of etched and fold-formed copper with glass, cement, and porcelain. Hours:11am-5pm  Lunaria Gallery 113 N Water St. Silverton
