artPICKSWTEXT2“!Pura Vida!,” is an exhibit of Mesoamerican-inspired artwork by Silverton painter Lori Rodrigues and Salem  ceramicist Bruce Fontaine. The show includes  paintings  depicting the landscape, flora and fauna of Costa Rica and Yucatecan ruins as well as ceramic sculptures and vessels that draw from the iconography of indigenous cultures. Rodrigues’ mural projects can be seen in several Oregon State Parks, the city of Saint Paul, at the state fairgrounds, and in Silverton.
