Over 150 wineries open their doors this Saturday May 28th through Monday May 30th for special events and tastings to launch the summertime in wine country. Both new releases and old favorites will pour in abundance from dozens of our region’s acclaimed wineries. Enjoy fresh food, live music, and local art. Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend, Cuban Style! Salsa Nova will be performing live both Saturday and Sunday, with Pura Vida performing live on Monday. Music starts daily at 1pm. And what would live Latin music be without Salsa Dancing? Mz. Jitterbug will be teaching two Salsa Dancing Lessons per day. Cuban Tapas will be prepared by McMinnville’s Pura Vida Cocina for $8 per plate. Open only twice a year, iOTA invites you to taste a vertical of their 2011, 2012 & 2013 iOTA, Pelos Sandberg Vineyard, and Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills. Tasting fee includes vertical, special “bonus” pours of limited wines, and a Riedel glass.

Enjoy Left Coast’s annual Sip and Stroll, exploring their beautiful estate & taste their new Spring releases during a walk-around-tasting that travels from their Winery to their Treehouse Pavilion, Cave and new Wine Barn. Afterwards, you can grab a bite in their Café where they serve wine-friendly fare, including wood-fired pizza. Admission includes a GoVino glass.

Join Redhawk for wine & barrel tasting, delicious food, and their incredible views. BBQ will be sizzling once again with tri-tip sandwiches and other goodies, along with house-made smoked salmon pate’, cheeses, salad, & more. Meet the winemaker, sample their selection of wines and barrel taste a future release.

Join Willamette Valley Vineyards for their annual “Pinots From Around the World” blind tasting competition. Taste Pinot Noir from California, New Zealand, France and Oregon. The winner will receive a wine blending seminar with the Winemaker, followed by a wine and food pairing lunch at the Estate.

Live music on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Admission is $20, $10 for Wine Club Members and their guests, and includes wine tasting and blind tasting competition. Reservations are strongly encouraged for the blind tasting competition.
