People interested in contributing ideas about a significant new park in South Salem should pick up their calendars and rewrite two dates.
The City’s final two public meetings on the Fairview Park Master Plan have changed.
The 29-acre property is located on the former Fairview Training facility and will be purchased by the City of Salem this spring. The city is required to provide four opportunities for the public to advise about its preference for features like tennis courts or soccer fields that will augment standard park amenities such as trails and restrooms.
The dates of the final two meetings will be Wednesday, February 2 and Wednesday March 16. Both meetings take place at the Pringle Community Hall at 606 Church St. SE and begin at 6:30pm.
