The fourth installment of the Hemp and Cannabis Fair is arriving at the Oregon State Fairgrounds this weekend.  The Oregon-based event celebrates cannabis and industrial hemp by featuring local businesses and promoting education.

A series of lectures will offer insights from experts in a wide variety of fields, including medicinal uses, growing and harvesting techniques.  More than 60 booths will provide samples, smoking and vaping accessories, horticulture supplies, hemp products and canna-biusiness information.

A recent Colorado survey indicates that adults with higher incomes and more education were more likely than others to have used marijuana.

“We are excited to bring a professional consumer-based expo to this industry,” says fair director Naimi Forkash.  “We expect to see a wide range of people here as it becomes more universally accepted to discuss cannabis use and the industrial applications for hemp.  The Hemp and Cannabis Fair was created for everyone with any interest in cannabis or hemp to shop, talk, learn and celebrate.”

The non-consumption event is restricted to people 21 and over.  In accordance with OLCC recreational marijuana guidelines, there will be no on-site consumption of cannabis promoted or allowed.
