CHRIS LAY TRIO

Saturday September 20

9:00pm – 21+

Venti’s Tap House 2840 Commercial Street S

Chris Lay has something to say and with this tight and syncopated trio he has a great conductor for his message. Playfully describing Chris Lay’s musical style as so diverse he would have somewhat of a musical identity crisis is probably accurate. He has a degree in Jazz Studies and is a multi-instrumentalist drawing on diverse song structure and style. This time around the trio is completed by Alex Milsted and Chris Chard. More info on everything Chris Lay can be found at chrislaymusic.com

TIM SNIDER

Friday September 19

9:00pm – 21+

The Governor’s Cup 471 Court Street NE

I literally was left ‘typeless’ when I first logged onto timsnidermusic.com and listened to the full studio composition of “With You”. Another video available on his website showcases a solo violin performance- which also has just as much impact. Multi-instrumentalist Tim Snider will be performing at the local coffee roasters- turned music venue on Friday evening. To put it simply: this is quality live music in a quality intimate atmosphere. Check it out!
